Upper Perkiomen’s Maddie Fox struck quickly in overtime to lift the Indians to a 2-1 win over visiting Methacton in a Pioneer Athletic Conference field hockey game on Wednesday.

Upper Perkiomen’s Maddie Fox struck quickly in overtime to lift the Indians to a 2-1 win over visiting Methacton in a Pioneer Athletic Conference field hockey game on Wednesday.

Trailing by 1-0 at the break, Methacton evened the score with a goal from Allie Torisi in the second half.

Just 44 seconds of overtime were needed, as Sami Stalford notched her second assist when she found Fox for the game-winner.

Katey Lederer was strong in goal, making six saves for Upper Perkiomen.
