Unionville used a little help to beat visiting Coatesville, 9-8, in Ches-Mont league inter-division baseball game Monday.

Unionville’s Kyle Langerhans led off the seventh with a single and advanced to third on a bunt and an infield single.

After Andrew Jones struck out to make the second out, many Coatesville players, including the pitcher and catcher, began to walk off the field thinking the final out had been recorded and the inning was over.

The confusion allowed Langerhans to score the winning run from third.
