Jeffery Lewis hit a game-winning layup with 11 seconds remaining, and Timber Creek won a thriller over Pemberton, 55-54, in nonleague boys’ basketball Saturday.

After Lewis’ layup, Timber Creek’s Denzel Washington blocked Pemberton’s final shot.

Lewis scored 14 of the Chargers’ 15 points in the fourth quarter. He grabbed eight rebounds in the fourth period and 16 overall.

Antoine Wilson led Pemberton with 15 points. The Hornets hit five three-pointers in the second quarter, when they outscored Timber Creek, 21-7.
