Terry sparks Northern Burlington rally in semifinal

Senior tailback LJ Terry put his Northern Burlington teammates on his back, scoring a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns Saturday as the Greyhounds rallied to upset top-seeded Burlington Township, 14-12, in a South Jersey Group 3 semifinal.

With his team trailing by 6-0 entering the final period, Terry ripped off a 15-yard run to even the score.

After the Falcons answered on Ka’Dar Hollman’s 54-yard pass from Khalil Trotmanto to retake the lead, 12-6, Terry jaunted in from 43 yards.

Colin Fitzpatrick and Leo Weismantel hooked up for a pass on the decisive two-point conversion to complete the scoring.

Northern Burlington will meet Delsea, a 46-0 victor over Bridgeton in the other semifinal, Saturday at Rowan for the championship.
