Smith sank a three, then turned a steal into a layup. He finished with 19 points and six rebounds. Amar Stukes added 16 points and six assists for the Explorers (12-4 overall, 6-1 Catholic).

Pat Vanderslice helped Bonner-Prendergast  (4-10, 1-6)  erase an 11-point deficit after three quarters. He scored 12 points in the fourth en route to 18 points. Danny Ings tied it on a basket with about 5 seconds left in regulation.

Ings scored 17 points.
