Rashann London's first attempt to orally commit to Drexel on Thursday resulted in a voice mail.
Dragons coach Bruiser Flint was in a meeting. So, the 6-foot-2 guard from Roman Catholic dialed Flint's assistant and Roman alum Bobby Jordan.
"I just told him I wanted to commit right now," said London. "And he was so happy. He was joking with me, saying I probably got him a raise."
London visited Drexel twice on unoffical visits and was surprised by how big the University City campus is. He is from Mt. Airy and said staying close to home was a priority. He also had interest from Towson, Fairfield and Binghamton.
"He's real close with his family, they'd like to see him play," said Roman coach Chris McNesby. "And he's a great student and Drexel's a great school. So, he's real excited about that."
