QB Moriarty shines, Harriton victorious

Central dominated High School of the Future from the opening kickoff as junior wide receiver Walt Pegues returned the squib kick 63 yards for a touchdown and the Lancers never looked back.

QB Moriarty shines, Harriton victorious

Senior quarterback Pat Moriarty and the Harriton Rams put on a dominating display Friday night at Chichester with a 42-14 nonleague victory.

One of the top quarterbacks in the Central League, Moriarty finished with 257 passing yards and three touchdowns.

The highlight of the night went to running back Desi Davis. Lining up in the slot, the senior ran a wheel route to the left sideline and hauled in Moriarty’s throw at the five yard line. He then dragged his defender into the end zone to give Harriton a 28-0 lead.
