The Irish won, 5-2, over Agnes Irwin in field hockey.

Putsch's hat trick boosts Notre Dame


Moira Putsch scored three goals, including two in the first half, and Nina Diamond added a pair of scores in Notre Dame's 5-2 victory over Agnes Irwin on Friday in an Inter-Ac League field hockey match.

Putsch, a junior forward, added an assist. For Diamond, a defender, the two-goal game was her second of the season. Gabby Carlini had two saves in goal for the Irish.

Olivia Tornetta and Sophia Tornetta scored for Agnes Irwin.
