Phoenixville Takes Down Owen J. Roberts

After 14 years of losing to its rival, Phoenixville beat Owen J. Roberts for the first time in program history Monday, 4-2, in a Pioneer Athletic Conference game at Owen J. Roberts.

"This is the girls' rivalry game," Phoenixville coach Tim Raub said. "They want to knock off Owen J. every year.

"This is the biggest win we've ever had, ever."

Dating back to 1998, Raub estimates Phoenixville has lost 22 straight regular-season games against Owen J. Roberts.

Phoenixville jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the first half. Dakota Graham scored twice and Kaitlyn Casiano and Cecilia Knaub each scored a goal.
