Morrisville's Melendez hits 1,000th point in loss to Jenkintown
Ricky Melendez scored his 1,000th career point on Wednesday as Morrisville fell at Jenkintown, 57-50, in a Bicentennial League boys' basketball game.
He finished with a team-high 16 points and reached the mark on a foul shot in the fourth quarter.
Joe Sobolewski led the Drakes with 13 points in the first quarter and freshman Colin Mulvaney hit all eight of his free throws.
