Molly Greenberg's free throws clinch playoff spot for St. Basil

Junior Molly Greenberg hit a pair of foul shots to seal St. Basil’s 48-45 win over visiting Merion Mercy as the Panthers locked up a Catholic Academies playoff spot.
Kalee Fuegel led Basil with 21 points and six steals. Kate Skalski added 10 points and was a key player in the second half.
Also in the Catholic Academies, Meg Geatens scored 12 of her game-high 16 points to help Mount St. Joseph inch closer to an undefeated league season as the Magic rolled at Villa Joseph Marie, 64-21.
Alex Louin added 14 points and Mount St. Joes improved to 13-0 in league and is one win away from completing its first unbeaten season since 2008-2009.
Molly Namiotka’s six points in the fourth quarter helped Villa Maria pull away at Nazareth Academy, 46-25. Nicole Dombrowski led Nazareth with 10 rebounds.
