Senior B.J. Johnson and junior Jaquan Johnson scored 25 and 24 points, respectively, to lead Lower Merion to a 73-62 upset of nationally ranked St. Frances (Md.) late Thursday in the opening round of the FamJuice Kobe Bryant Classic at Lower Merion.

B.J. Johnson, a Syracuse recruit, scored 11 of his 25 points at the foul line. Jaquan Johnson's 24 points were a career high.

The Aces jumped out to a 21-11 lead after one quarter and never trailed the rest of the way. St. Frances came in ranked 15th nationally.

Lower Merion has won six straight since falling to Neumann-Goretti in the season opener.

The win set up a championship matchup with St. Joseph's Prep at 8 p.m. Saturday at Lower Merion. St. Joe's Prep is also 6-1, with the only loss coming against Imhotep Charter.
