La Salle lacrosse coach Bill Leahy will be inducted into the Eastern Pa. chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame in February, the school announced on Tuesday.

La Salle lacrosse coach Bill Leahy will be inducted into the Eastern Pa. chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame in February, the school announced on Tuesday.

Leahy started the Explorers' program in 1992 and has been their only coach. He's won 18 Catholic League titles and has totaled a record of 380-76. He's also a guidance counselor at the school.

Leahy, a native of Maryland, played three seasons with the Philadelphia Wings from 1994-1996.

The ceremony will take place on Feb. 2 at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club.
