FINAL Williamstown 36, Delsea 21

 

Williamstown (10-1, 7-0) clinches the Tri-County Royal Division title.

 

Harry Ulmer scored on a 40-yard run and Brandon Porter caught a two-point conversion pass to increase Williamstown’s lead to 36-21 with 6:25 left in the fourth quarter.

 

On the first play from scrimmage after Williamstown took a 28-14 lead, Delsea answered with a 62-yard scoring run by Sean McPherson to cut the margin to 28-21 with 3:52 left in the third quarter.

 

Ron Gordon scored on a 40-yard run to increase Williamstown’s lead to 28-14 with 4:13 left in the third quarter.

 

Harry Ulmer’s 77-yard touchdown run gave Williamstown a 21-14 lead with 10:21 left in the third quarter.

 

Haltime Stats: Delsea – Austin Medley 10 carries, 64 yards, 1 TD

Williamstown – Bill McCarty – 3-3 passing, 76 yards. Marcus Hampton – 8 carries, 42 yards 2 TDs.

 

Williamstown tied the score on Marcus Hampton’s 22-yard run with 2:49 left in the first half. Hampton made a great cutback move enroute to the end zone.

 

Delsea took a 14-7 lead on Austin Medley’s one-yard run with 7:28 left in the first half. The Crusaders needed just two plays after recovering a fumble on the Williamstown 4-yard line.

 

Williamstown tied the score, 7-7, on Marcus Hampton’s 3-yard run with 10:50 left in the second quarter.

 

Delsea took a 7-0 lead when Chris Jackson Dylan Wilton with an 8-yard scoring pass on a 4th and 3 play with 2:07 left  in the first quarter.
