Imhotep's DeAndre Scott receiving high interest

Imhotep junior DeAndre Scott continues to rack up college offers as the safety has around nine or 10 suitors according to Panthers football coach Albie Crosby.

Tennessee offered the corner back in November and since then he's received offers from Arizona State, Temple, Boston College, Miami, Villanova and Texas.

"He's amazing," said Crosby. "He's Brian Dawkins like."

Scott was rated in Dec. as the area's top safety by the Inquirer's Rick O'Brien. The 5-foot-10, 180-pounder will likely transition to corner back in college. This season with Imhotep, he demonstrated his explosiveness by returning four of six interceptions for touchdowns and scoring four more touchdowns on offense out of the wildcat.
