Glassboro rolls into Group 1 semifinals

Juwan Johnson and Ronnie James each scored two touchdowns as Glassboro piled up the game’s first 42 points Friday night en route to a 42-6 victory over Pennsville in a South Jersey Group 1 football quarterfinal.

Glassboro senior Corey Clement ran 11 times for 94 yards, becoming the first South Jersey running back to post consecutive 2,000-yard seasons.

Johnson caught a 39-yard pass from Mike Gillespie to open the scoring, and returned an interception 63 yards. James took back a punt 90 yards and added a 2-yard run for a score.
