Friends' Central's Billy Cassidy committed on Thursday afternoon to play basketball at Chestnut Hill College.

The 5-foot-10 guard averaged 10 points per game last season and knocked down 64 three pointers.

"Billy is one of the hardest working kids I've ever seen," said Phoenix coach Ryan Tozer. "He is a pure shooter and gritty on-ball defender."

Cassidy currently leads Friends' Central with 51 three-pointers and is second on the team with 15.8 points per game.

"They have a great coaching staff and I feel blessed that I can continue to play basketball for four more years," Cassidy said.
