Terron Younger earned his 100th victory as Freire Charter head coach with a 51-29 victory over Dobbins in a Public League girls' basketball game.

Freire's Younger earns 100th victory

The Freire Charter girls' basketball team defeated Dobbins on Friday, 51-29, earning head coach Terron Younger his 100th victory with the program.

Younger, in his sixth year at the helm of the program, said after the Public League game that he expects more accomplishments down the road.

"I'm happy," Younger said. "I want the gold, I want the championship, but I'll settle for this one for now."

Chelsea Woods scored a game-high 26 points for Freire. The Dragons held a three-point lead at halftime, but outscored Dobbins, 33-14, in the second half to pull away.
