Two strong performances in field events highlighted Father Judge's win in the season-opening Catholic League boys’ track meet held Monday at Rush.

The team results were: 1. Father Judge, 108; 2. Archbishop Ryan, 78; 3. Archbishop Wood, 59; 4. Archbishop Carroll 16.

Father Judge’s Marquis Seamon high-jumped 6-feet, 2 inches, which was more than a foot better than his closest competitor.

In the triple jump, Father Judge’s Vontae Hilliard won with a mark of 40 feet, 4 inches.

Archbishop Ryan’s Jeremiah Agrio won the 100 meters, the 400 meters and the 300-meter intermediate hurdles.
