Episcopal Academy used a pair of forwards to east past visiting Academy of the New Church, 4-1, in the quarterfinals of the Pa. Independent Schools field hockey tournament.

Alana Dumas, a senior, and junior Lexi Curry scored one goal and added one assist. Junior Gianna Pileggi needed just one save for the win.

Callie Avellino and Margaux Paolino added a goal.

The Churchwomen advance to host Agnes Irwin on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the semifinals.
