Cinnaminson racked up 226 rushing yards, highlighted by senior Xavier Wilson’s three touchdowns, and rolled to a 48-14 victory over visiting Palmyra on Thursday night in a nonleague football game.

Tom Donnelly, who had been sidelined with an injury since Week 1, returned for the Pirates (4-2) and gained 50 yards on nine carries, with one touchdown.

Junior back Brad Hawthorne and sophomore quarterback Nick Thevanayagam each added a touchdown on the ground. Thevanayagam’s 44-yard pass to junior Matt Morris rounded out the Pirates’ seven-touchdown performance.

Cinnaminson held Palmyra to 5 yards on the ground.

Wilson scored on runs of 1, 2, and 1 yards to send the Pirates into halftime with a 20-0 lead.
Zach Berry put Palmyra on the board in the third quarter with a 2-yard run, and the two-point conversion cut the margin to 20-8.

But Thevanayagam and Donnelly scored on runs of 24 and 9 yards, respectively, to boost the lead to 34-8.

John Harman then returned the ensuing kickoff 75 yards to the end zone, putting Palmyra within 34-14.
