Carpenter Cup postponements and updated schedule

Because of field conditions and the threat of storms, the Carpenter Cup first-round games scheduled for Friday and early Saturday at Ashburn Field have been postponed. The tournament will resume at 4 p.m. on Saturday and pick up Sunday morning.

Because of field conditions and the threat of storms, the Carpenter Cup first-round games scheduled for Friday and early Saturday at Ashburn Field have been postponed. The tournament will resume at 4 p.m. on Saturday and pick up Sunday morning.

The semifinals and championship are scheduled for Thursday and Friday at Citizens Bank Park. 

Here's the new schedule:

FIRST ROUND

All games are at Ashburn Field in FDR Park. 

Saturday, June 14

Tri-Cape vs. Philadelphia Catholic League, 4 p.m. 

Sunday, June 15

Suburban One American/Continental vs. Berks County, 9 a.m.

Mercer County vs. Jersey Shore, 12:30 p.m. 

Delaware County vs. Public League, 4 p.m.

Monday, June 16

Suburban One National/Bicentennial vs. Chester County, 9 a.m. 

Inter-Ac Independents vs. Delaware South, 12:30 p.m.

QUARTERFINALS

Monday, June 16

Burlington County vs. Olympic Colonial, 4 p.m. 

Other quarterfinals TBD.
