Jess Carney heated up in the fourth quarter on Saturday night as Archbishop Carroll turned back King's Fork (Va.), 55-48, in the final of the Crescom Bank Holiday Invitational in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The freshman guard knocked down six three-pointers, four of which came in the fourth as the Patriots overcame a 10-point deficit. Carroll outscored King's Fork, 26-9, in the fourth.

Senior center Sarah Curran finished with 18 points, three assists and two rebounds to earn tournament MVP. Carroll finished third at the tournament last season.
