C.R. South's Amanda Benninghoff commits to UNC

Council Rock South senior pole vaulter Amanda Benninghoff has orally committed to North Carolina, according to Golden Hawks indoor track coach Ken Worthen.

Council Rock South senior pole vaulter Amanda Benninghoff has orally committed to North Carolina, according to Golden Hawks indoor track coach Ken Worthen.

Benninghoff has medaled three times at the PIAA State Championships in the pole vault and placed second in June at the New Balance outdoor national championships.

Her jump of 12 feet, 5 inches is the state's top mark for this indoor season.
