Busy weekend for Neumann-Goretti

Three Saints players are on visits to Division 1 schools.

Busy weekend for Neumann-Goretti

Neumann-Goretti's Johnnie Davis, Ja'Quan Newton and Troy Harper are spending part of their weekend on college visits according to head coach Carl Arrigale.

Davis, a 6-foot-5 senior, is on an official visit to Towson.  The Tigers hold Midnight Madness on Friday. Along with Towson, Davis has offers from VCU, George Mason, Temple and LaSalle.

Harper, a 6-foot-1 junior guard, is at Drexel for their Midnight Madness. It's an unofficial visit.

Arrigale wasn't sure if Newton was definitely going to Georgetown for their Midnight Madness, but knew the 6-foot-3 junior guard had planned to. On Thursday, Newton tweeted to Abington Friends product and current Georgetown sophomore Jabril Trawick that he would be there.

Im coming up bro RT @JT55iVe: Midnight Madness is 2 days away... Lets get it!!
