Rysheed Jordan sets a new date for college decision

Rysheed Jordan, the hottest name in area recruiting, has changed his mind.

The Vaux senior guard has moved up his college announcement to April 11, four days from when he first planned to decide. Jordan is considering Temple, St. John's and UCLA. Jordan's decision will be a non-binding oral commitment. He is not permitted to sign a letter of intent until April 17.

On Wednesday, Jordan was named the state's Class A Player of the Year and also won the Phoenix Award, given to the top player in the Public League.
