Shawnee Falls In GLAX State Final

Shawnee saw its girls’ lacrosse season end with Friday’s 12-6 loss to West Morris Mendham in the Group 3 state final at Ridge High.
Aly Messinger scored six goals for the winners. Shawnee received two goals from Alexis Newman.
Trailing 4-2, Mendham would score 10 unanswered goals.
Ranked No. 1 in South Jersey by The Inquirer, Shawnee finished 20-2, while Mendham improved to 22-1.
