Softball: Sterling beats Haddon Twp.

Jamie Lambe pitched a complete game and Kyle McGoldrick scored two runs and drove in another as Sterling beat Haddon Township, 5-0, Tuesday in Colonial Conference softball.

Lambe allowed seven hits and struck out four. She was backed by flawless defense as Sterling did not commit an error and turned two double plays.

McGoldrick singled and scored in the first and hot an RBI double in the second. Amanda Gardiner also hit an RBI double for Sterling (9-2, 6-1).

Jesse Blythe had a double and single for Haddon Township (11-5, 5-4).
