Baseball: Sterling rallies past Haddon Heights

Kevin Walsh hit two runs to lead Sterling to a 10-7 victory over Haddon Heights Friday in the second round of the Camden County baseball tournament.

Kevin Walsh hit two runs to lead Sterling to a 10-7 victory over Haddon Heights Friday in the second round of the Camden County baseball tournament.

Walsh hit a three-run homer to break a 6-6 tie in the top of the eighth. Bob Applegate followed with a solo home run for Sterling (5-3).

Shane Watson got the win with three strong innings of relief pitching for Sterling, which advances to the semifinals May 1.

Mike Wasienko hit a two-run homer and Rob Migliaccio hit a two-run doubles for Haddon Heights (4-2).
