Baseball: Lenape beats Cherry Hill East

Junior Jeff McGarry pitched a three-hitter and hit a solo home run as Lenape beat Cherry Hill East 11-1 in an Olympic American baseball game Tuesday.

McGarry went the distance in the five-inning game. He struck out four, walked one and hit a batter.

Lenape (7-1, 2-0) rapped nine hits, led by Steve Kramitz' two doubles. Chris Malinowski had two singles and three RBIs for the Indians.

Dan Cassano hit an RBI double for Cherry Hill East (4-2, 0-1).
