Penn Charter girls improve to 10-1

Penn Charter became only the second Southeastern Pennsylvania girls' basketball team to reach double-digit wins.

The Quakers (10-1) did it at the expense of a team from across the river, beating visiting Hun School (N.J.), 42-26, Thursday behind Dianna Thomas-Palmer's 11 points.

Brianna Butler and Erin Marin each chipped in with six rebounds for the Quakers, who join Springfield (Delaware County) as the only two area teams with 10 wins or more.

The Cougars are 10-0.
