Foggie, Payton Combine For 81 points

It was a matchup of two of South Jersey’s best that definitely lived up to its billing. Lenape’s Christina Foggie and Camden’s Annie Payton traded one basket after another with both combining for 81 points.


It was Foggie’s driving layup with 10 second left in the second overtime that broke a 73-73 tie and gave the Indians a 75-73 win over the Panthers.


Foggie scored 41 points, while Payton added 40.

Ranked No. 3 in South Jersey by The Inquirer, Lenape is now 6-1, while No. 8 Camden is 3-3.
