Girls' Basketball: Bishop Eustace 51, Paul VI 45

Bishop Eustace’s girls’ basketball team used a 21-5 second quarter advantage to defeat Paul VI, 51-45 in an Olympic Conference girls’ basketball game.


The Crusaders had lost their first five games this year before beating the Eagles.


“We needed this,” said Eustace senior forward Jackie Schluth, who scored 16 points.  Paul VI (3-2) was led by senior Vicki Smith who scored 14 points.
