EHT's Johnson To Rutgers

Tejay Johnson, an Inquirer first-team all-South Jersey defensive back from Egg Harbor Township, has made a verbal commitment to attend Rutgers, according to EHT coach Tony DeRosa.

Johnson, the Meet of Champions 100 meter champion as a junior, is currently on an official visit to Rutgers and should be returning home today.

This season Johnson had five interceptions and 25 solo tackles while rushing for 973 yards and 10 touchdowns.
