I couldn't call Saturday's annual football game between Hammonton and St. Joseph's a Thanksgiving day rivalry, so I asked coaches and another sportswriter how to refer to it.

We agreed to call it the "annual holiday weekend game."

However, St. Joseph's long-time stat man, Mike Ford, gave me the game's AKA. It's called the Pasta Bowl.

I like that better.

Hammonton won, 16-14, and leads the series, 26-21-1.
