HOLY CROSS-MOORESTOWN MOVED TO FRIDAY

The football game between Moorestown and Holy Cross, which was originally supposed to be played the day after Thanksgiving, has been moved to Friday.

Holy Cross will host the 7 pm. game.

The move came after Moorestown was eliminated last week by Timber Creek in the South Jersey Group 3 playoffs.

“Since Moorestown isn’t in the playoffs we both agreed to move the game up,” Holy Cross athletic director Dan Dockery said. “Now the athletes who are participating in winter sports can start practice on time.”

Practices for most winter sports begin the day after Thanksgiving.
