Gloucester Caholikc's Karen Thomas hit the winning penalty kick in the shootout segement to give the Rams the South Jersey Non-Public B girls' soccer championship over Holy Cross

The two teams played a scoreless tie through 100 minutes and had to settle the matter on penalty kicks.

Gloucester Catholic made all five of its penalty kicks, while Holy Cross made four.

Holy Cross has had the better of the play, although Gloucester Catholic has enjoyed its moments.

In the first half half, taking it to the Rams once again. Rams goalie Jacki Wajda made a few nice saves to keep the game scoreless.

Midway through the second half Wajda made the save of the game, stoning Clare MacAdams on a breakaway.

In the second OT, MacAdams kicked a rebound right at Wajda, in the best scoring chance of the two extra periods.
