Colleen Slaughter scored both goals and Natalie Hunter tied the school record for career saves today as Ocean City beat Kingsway, 2-0, in the championship game of the South Jersey Group 3 field hockey tournament.

It was the 15th win in a row for Ocean City (20-1). The Red Raiders have won nine sectional titles, including four in the last five years.

Kingsway, which had won 12 in a row by a combined score of 61-0, finished with a 17-4 record.

Hunter made three saves to register her 53rd career shutout.

Ocean City advances to Thursday's state semifinals to face the winner of the Moorestown-Wall game.
