EHT QB Miller commits to Harvard

Egg Harbor Township senior Scott Miller has made an oral commitment to attend Harvard. A former receiver, Miller is the quarterback this season for the Eagles, who are 7-0 and ranked No. 5 in South Jersey by The Inquirer. He is also a standout at free safety. “He had offers from schools such Akron, Hofstra and New Hampshire, and Rutgers was still looking at him, but you can’t go wrong with a school as prestigious as Harvard,” Township coach Tony DeRosa said. “He’s a great student; they have recruited him as an athlete.” -- Marc Narducci
