PIAA District 12 cross-country results

At Belmont Plateau Wednesday, La Salle came away with the boys’ Class AAA cross-country team title and St. Joseph’s Prep’s Chris O’Sullivan had the top individual performance of the day in the District 12 Championships.

La Salle finished with 33 team points, 12 ahead of second-place St. Joseph’s Prep, and O’Sullivan covered the 3.1-mile course in 16:34.30, about 14 seconds ahead of second-place Tom Kehl of Father Judge.

Masterman won the Class AA boys’ team title.

In the girls’ competition, Cardinal O’Hara took the team Class AAA title with Bodine’s Felicia Wright (19:58) nipping Archbishop Carroll’s Katie Rodden by three seconds for the individual crown.

In Class AA girls, Paul Robeson took the team title, led by Kelva Delorme’s first-place finish (20:50).
