Finley sets rush record for Cheltenham

Damon Finley set a school record in single game rushing with 361 yards Friday, leading Cheltenham to a 32-28 Suburban One American Conference football win at Upper Dublin.

Finley broke the mark of 355 yards set by Marcus Fontes in a 2003.

Finley, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound senior, had more than 1,200 yards last year.

The Panthers (3-5, 2-2) knocked the Cardinals (3-1, 3-4) into second place, one-half game behind Norristown (4-1 league).
