Cinnaminson's McGettigan is back and playing well

By Marc Narducci

Cinnaminson senior sweeper Keriann McGettigan missed little time after colliding with a Moorestown player during a 1-1 tie on Oct. 9.

McGettigan didn’t play the final 18 minutes of regulation time or 20 minutes of overtime and said afterward that she was dizzy.

Cinnaminson didn’t play again until Oct. 13, and while she didn’t start, McGettigan played much of the game.

“She is back and doing well,” Cinnaminson coach Rich McConnell said.

McGettigan is among the top defenders in South Jersey. She has made an oral commitment to Mount St. Mary’s.
