Maureen Hawkins could be the last Cardinal Dougherty player to score 100 goals if the school closes at the end of the year as planned. But Hawkins will take her game to St. Joseph’s next season.
Hawkins scored her 100th goal Oct. 8 against West Catholic, the day Dougherty found out the school would be closed. She has 27 goals this season, including all six in a 6-2 victory over Archbishop Prendergast on Sept. 24.
Mentioned: Cardinal Dougherty High School
