Bill Iezzi: Eastern Field Hockey Fireworks

Field hockey fans will feast on this away game tonight.

Eastern, ranked No. 5 in the nation, is scheduled to take on No. 1 Eammaus (PA.).

As of 10 a.m. today, there was no word on wheather rain would postpone the game. Rain didn't stop Eastern from hosting Wyoming Seminary on Sept. 26 and the two teams battled to a sudden-death penalty stroke round that resulted in a 3-2 win for Wyoming.

Emmaus was No. 1 last year when Eastern pulled out a 1-0 victory. In fact, Eastern has won four of the five meetings between the two teams, which started playing each other in 2004.

Emmaus beat Eastern, 4-1, in 2005.
