At Rose Tree Park in Media, the Cardinal O’Hara boys’ team won the title of the 46th annual Delco Road Runners Club Championships and Haverford High senior Ed Donnelly took first place.

At Rose Tree Park in Media, the Cardinal O’Hara boys’ team won the title of the 46th annual Delco Road Runners Club Championships and Haverford High senior Ed Donnelly took first place.

Donnelly covered the 3.1-mile course in 16 minutes, 16 seconds to take the title after finishing 17th and 23d the previous two years.

Notre Dame took first place in the girls’ race for the first time.

Radnor’s Kelyn Freedman took top individual honors with a 18:58. The senior finished fifth, third and third her previous three years.

Manhattan Invitational. At Van Cortlandt Park, North Penn’s Meghan McGovern covered the 2.5-mile course in 14:50.91 to win the girls’ Varsity C title. As a team, the Maidens finished third.

Pennsbury’s Sara Sargent won the Varsity F race in 14:41.92, with the Falcons taking first place in that F group.

In the boys’ competition, North Penn’s Brad Miles (12:27.51) finished just two seconds behind Haddonfield’s Jon Vitez in the championship division to finish second.

Hill School’s Tyler Mueller won the G group with a 12:51.58.
