Bill Iezzi: Burlington Township Football Coach

Township head coach Tom Maderia has an opinion about the playoffs that may or may not be shared by his peers.

"Sometimes we pay way too much attention to the playoffs," Maderia said. ""Let's take care of business at home, first. You want to win a championship. You take pride in it.

"The playoffs are the ultimate goal, but we would much rather win our conference first."

Tonight Township will take a major step in that direction when it travels to Paul VI for a major Burlco/Olympic confrontation. Both teams are undefeated at 4-0.
