Furness saved the best for last and edged Ben Franklin, 16-14, in a Public League Class AA Division football game at 11th & Bigler yesterday.
The Electrons (2-3 overall, 1-2 league) took a 14-8 lead in the fourth quarter when Marcus White bowled into the end zone from the 1-yard line and added a run for a two-point conversion. But Ryan Johnson caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from Sharif Smith to tie the game for the Falcons (4-2, 2-1) and Smith ran for the game-winning two-point conversion.
White carried the ball 25 times for 195 yards to spark Ben Franklin while Aaron Cooper and Victor Pastore had 11 and 10 tackles, respectively for Furness.

Bok 40, FitzSimons 6 — Khalil Neal rushed for a pair of long touchdowns and sparked the Wildcats (6-0, 3-0) past the Rams (0-6, 0-4) at Marcus Foster Stadium.
Neal raced 25 and 32 yards to the end zone in the first quarter to give Bok a 13-0 lead over FitzSimons. His efforts helped the Wildcats accumulate over 300 yards of offense.
Quarterback Andre Frazier also had a big game, hitting Bobby Ross with a 30-yard scoring toss and Jihad Ward with a 20-yard touchdown pass.

Public League Class AAAA White

Ernesto Garcia rushed for two touchdowns and over 100 yards to pace Lincoln to a 28-0 win over Olney at Charlie Martin Memorial Stadium.
The Railsplitters (3-3, 2-1) got the Trojans (3-1, 1-1) to turn the ball over three times.
