Wednesday girls' soccer

Ally Stathius opened the scoring with 15 minutes left, off a pass from Tara Ballay, and Ballay added an insurance goal on a breakaway with eight minutes to go as visiting Delran (4-5, 2-4) upset eighth-ranked Rancocas Valley, 2-0, in a Burlington County League shocker.
Breanna Brown made 10 stops in shutting down the Liberty Division-leading Red Devils (7-2, 5-2).

In other Burlco action:

Kathleen Wolff’s shot from the top of the box in overtime found the net, making host Moorestown a 4-3 winner over Bordentown. The teams combined for five goals in a wild second half, which saw the Scotties’ Alexis McTamney score twice.

Willingboro rode four goals by Taylor Lewis and shutout goaltending by Janay Tucker to a 5-0 win at Westampton Tech.

Brigida Petras put in a rebound to pull Florence even with 10 minutes left in regulation, and the host Flashes went on to play Maple Shade to a 1-1 draw.

Shannon Grogan, Colleen Howard and Brigit LaRose each had a goal to lead Holy Cross to a 3-0 victory at Northern Burlington.

Patrice Maro’s second-half goal and flawless goaltending by Katie Getsinger (14 saves) helped host Haddon Township (10-0-1) slip past Gateway, 1-0.

Haddon Heights (8-1-1) shared the ball on offense, with six players figuring in the scoring in a 3-0 triumph over visiting Sterling.

West Deptford (8-3-1) ran out to a three-goal lead — more than enough for Eagles’ keeper Alicia Barger, who handcuffed host Overbrook for a 4-0 win.

Alex Gravinese led the way with a hat trick and Apryle Panyi contributed a goal and two assists for Audubon, which peppered Lindenwold keeper Destiny Moore (30 saves) in rolling, 6-0, at home.

Mainland (8-1) used a pair of first-half goals by Jessica Mann to get past visiting Egg Harbor Township, 2-0.

Sophomore Catherine Hartman’s first goal of the season, off a pass from Taylor Beatty in the second half, lifted host Cherry Hill East over Absegami, 1-0.
