Friday's field hockey roundup

Delco Christian and Upper Darby played 60 minutes of nonleague field hockey without a goal yesterday but needed only 27 seconds after that to decide it.
Brittney Weidemann scored 27 seconds into the overtime to give Delco Christian a 1-0 road win.
Emily Lindemuth had 12 saves in goal to earn the shutout for the Knights (4-5).

Haley Smith’s first-half goal gave Jenkintown a 1-0 win at Nazareth Academy.

Kelsey LeBlanc scored twice for host Haverford High in a 4-0 win over Interboro.

Karlee Friedrichs scored a pair of goals for host Penncrest in a 3-0 win over Sun Valley.
Kate McFadden scored a goal in each half to give host St. Hubert a 2-0 win over rival Northeast.

Catholic. Megan George scored a goal and assisted on Katie Killeen’s game-winner in the second half for host Cardinal O’Hara in a 2-1 win over Archbishop Wood.
The Lions are now 10-0-1 overall, 5-0-0 league.


Kelsey Gula scored midway through the second half to give Episcopal Academy a 1-0 win at Penn Charter.

Rayna Aivazglou’s goal off an Emily West assist with 10 minutes left gave Agnes Irwin a 2-1 win at Baldwin.

First-half goals by Ali Becker and Stephanie Lamont gave host Germantown Academy a 2-0 win over Springside.

 Lauren Becker and Emily Gallagher each scored twice for host Wissahickon in an 8-0 win over Upper Moreland.
Gallagher also chipped in with an assist for the unbeaten Trojans (9-0, 7-0).

Amy Cross and Emily Hitchings scored two goals apiece for host Upper Dublin in a 7-0 win over Upper Merion.
Kelly Cross added a pair of assists for the Cardinals.

 Nikki Cuthbert’s second-half goal gave Pennsbury a 2-1 win at Neshaminy.

Kristen French’s second hat trick of the season helped North Penn roll to an 8-0 win over Pennridge.

Goalie Morgan Brovena had 16 saves in Souderton’s 4-2 win over visiting rival Quakertown.
Olivia Shoemaker contributed a goal and an assist on offense for the Indians.
