Holy Ghost Prep golfers dominate Bicen championships

Holy Ghost Prep dominated the Bicentennial League Golf Championships at the Linfield National Golf Course in Royersford Wednesday.

The Firebirds’ Ed Fenton led a group of four teammates who shot in the 70s, carding a 2-over-par 73.

Teammates Joe Gunerman (77), Chris Crawford (77), and Frank Fulginiti (79) finished in the top five.

Devon Prep’s Zach Koehler was the only non-Firebird in the top five with a second-place 76.

All of those golfers qualified for the District 1 championships, as did the next seven finishers, one of which was Jenkintown’s Justin Smith (79).

The tournament will be held Oct. 12-13 at Turtle Creek Golf Course.
